Jeff's new calling as Young Men's President is definitely keeping him busy. Most weekends he has either a Young Men's activity or a scouting activity that usually take up most if not all of his Saturday. So when he is busy with the Young Mens, we have decided we will take advantage of living so close to Grandparents so the kids and I make the short 1.5 hour drive to Marietta to see Grandma and Grandpa "G". And lucky for me, Grandma and Grandpa "G" have been gracious enough to give up their entire Saturdays entertaining the Thornton kids. My kids love it!! Who wouldn't love a day when your Grandma and Grandpa do just about everything you have on your "list" (Bayley came to her grandparent's house with a 12 line list of things she wanted to do on Saturday) as well as other fun things that weren't even on your list. My kids have been blessed with wonderful grandparents on both sides of our family. They look forward to their bi-annual trips to Indiana and have loved having grandparents only a short ride away.

They love playing with their grandkids! That's a good idea to go there when Jeff is going to be gone with the YM. It's a HUGE calling! I feel like Wes or I are always doing something with the youth.
How fun. I wish my parents lived a bit closer so my kids could see them more often. Vegas is a just a bit too far for frequent trips. Glad you guys can see your parents a lot!
